We are pleased to announce ‘But I Live: Three Stories of Child Survivors of the Holocaust’ was nominated for the JewCie Award for Diverse Representation.
The JewCE Awards aim to inspire and uplift talent in the field, fostering the growth of Jewish-themed comics. This recognition encourages artists to delve into the depths of Jewish culture, creating authentic representations that contribute to a more inclusive and diverse comic landscape.
The JewCE Awards are given as part of the JewCE Convention be held in Manhattan at the Center for Jewish History. The awards are envisioned as the Jewish-world equivalent of the Oscars or the Eisners, and will be awarded at a ceremony to be held at the Center on the night of Saturday November 11, 2023: https://jewce.org/index.php/the-2023-jewce-awards/
Our graphic artist, Miriam Libicki, will be in attendance and also guest speaking on the panel “Jewish Female Narratives in the Graphic Arts”.
